Gina McKnight-Smith, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, PMP

Dr. Gina McKnight-Smith integrates three (3) degrees to provide MIME's constructive impact on health and wellness strategies -- her BA in Biology, 1993; PharmD, 1997; and MBA, 2000. For years Dr. McKnight-Smith has been very active in professional pharmacy organizations as well as community networking organizations. Her experience spans across pharmacy segments including community (retail), outpatient hospital, long-term care consulting, prescription benefit management and managed care, healthcare policy, and the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. McKnight-Smith stays very engaged and involved in policy making for pharmacy in the State of Maryland as evidenced by her service on several Governor-appointed Advisory Boards and Task Forces. Dr. McKnight-Smith demonstrates civic engagement through her participation in Leadership Baltimore County (2021 Cohort) and as a Governor-appointed, State-Senate confirmed Commission on the Maryland Commission for Civil Rights (MCCR). To maintain an active involvement with clinical standards of pharmacy practice, Dr. McKnight-Smith is a Clinical Assistant Professor and preceptor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Dr. McKnight-Smith also maintains active Board memberships including the Board of Visitors for the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy, Board of Trustees for Samuel Ready Scholarship Foundation, and many other affiliations.



Wallene Bullard, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Wallene Bullard earned her PharmD in 1994 as valedictorian of her class prior to completing her residency training at San Bernardino County Medical Center in California. Dr. Bullard, who holds certification in pharmacotherapy and physical assessment, has valuable experiences in several pharmacy practice settings including acute care, community, long-term care consulting, ambulatory care, academia, prescription benefit management, healthcare policy, and pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Bullard is proactive in healthcare policy promotion on both regional and national levels. She has appointments with regional Quality Improvement Organizations (QIO), as well as national task force appointments with the National Quality Forum and Pharmacy Quality Alliance. Dr. Bullard holds pharmacy practice licenses in three (3) states and the District of Columbia (DC). As an adjunct professor at Howard University (HU), Dr. Bullard continues to mentor and train tomorrow's pharmacists as well as host-lectures, podcasts and other seminars. Dr. Bullard has earned several prestigious awards locally and nationally. She is a reputed expert recognized on local, regional and national scenes. Her speaking engagements include numerous print, radio, television (TV), and other social media platforms. Dr. Bullard spearheaded the creation of the Minority Pharmacist. Entrepreneur Conference (MPECRx) in 2020. The MPECRx initiative has already exposed over 200 minority pharmacists and pharmacy students to entrepreneurial activities beyond the traditional pharmacy practice.
